He’s suddenly very pottery, I’m not 100% sure if he’s got a touch of lami again or an abscess as one foot is clearly sorer 😭

I did his feet and found a definite track in the toe, but nothing out of it yet.

I took this Thursday night, there’s not much grass on their little paddock, it’s too short to muzzle on.

Although he’s super slim this year I had planned to pull him off the grass this weekend anyway, but when I got there Friday night he was already pottering (he was fine in the morning), poor guy.

I’ll have to get bloods pulled again when he’s feeling better, he’s 20 now so PPID is a consideration, but he was negative last time we tested for that and EMS.

Hank is currently in the dog house, I moved them back into the sand pit next to the big kids and he got so excited he tried chasing Dan, then when Dan wouldn’t run Hank was biting and mounting him, repeatedly! So Hank is now on a section of track with no shelter, no friends and is sulking!

Dan was looking good last night, so as I was going to be there a while I popped Hank back with him. Dan immediately bit Hank and chased him, so definitely feeling better 👌 they were back to being each other’s shadows tonight, both happy to have their buddy back, much mutual grooming has been had.

He’s definitely feeling better, caught him cantering around chasing the guineas tonight 🤣🤣
Then being all cute

Hank has however got a bit of a cough, so I’ve juggled around again so Hank can go on grass (muzzled) instead of hay. I popped them both out for 20 minutes while I rearranged Dan’s fence to make my life easier

Dan wasn’t impressed about being brought back to his pen, but we’ll stick with 20 minutes a day out for a week and see how he does.
