One of my favourite photos of her that I actually thought I had lost. Well when I logged into to Dropbox off the phone it said They had deleted my account as I wasn't active. Log in off my tablet and all the photos are still there.
Little wake up call to actually print off those favourite ones.
Doesn't need to be a good photo if its your favourite or if it was taken 10 years ago

When you use them, put the white bit and roots in a pot of water, and they will keep regrowing and you can keep harvesting them.

Is he / she a little lizard or a salamander? How lucky are you! I love those sorts of critters. At my first house we had a damp area down one side and it was home to little lizard type things. I think they were small salamanders or something.
Sorry part of its tail is missing. Darn cats eh!
Just wanted to add - I googled and there are no true native salamanders - so newt? Lucky you!

It looks very similar to what we have here which are common lizards, they shed their tail to distract predators and regrow it!

How clever of them. I love lizzies. I'll never forget there were loads of them in Rome. I thought I was seeing things at first but they were covering the front of the hotel darting around on the brickwork and in their gardens too. I think Orkney is too cold for them lol
